What Happens at Counselling?

If you decide that counselling can help you, the first step is to get in touch with us

When you call, you will either get through to one of our Admin staff or you can leave a message on our answer phone and we’ll get back to you.

Relationships Scotland Borders Counselling

You will be asked some questions when you first contact us to ensure we give you the best possible support. We will explain how we work, when we have appointments available and how long it will take to arrange an appointment. Although we would like to be able to offer appointments when people first contact us, there may be a short waiting list.

Please let us know if domestic abuse is an issue so that we can offer you an appointment on your own to start with.

Our counsellors offer a confidential, non-judgmental environment in which you can freely express your thoughts, feelings, and fears. This can be particularly helpful for those who feel uncomfortable discussing their issues with family, friends, or colleagues.
